How to Find Nick’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers

Nick’s is located at 6999 Hwy Old U.S 52, in Lexington, NC. It is fairly easy to find and has a sign that is easy to see from the road.  It’s about a mile off of U.S. 52.

The Menu

The menu features items that are typical at a southern burger restaurant, burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches were featured heavily.

Price Range

The typical price range for menu items was between $8-$10.  This included the main entre and a side item.

Important Tips

• There is a big fan that blows air when you open the door.  Don’t linger in the doorways
• This establishment did not seem to be “masker” friendly.  The dorks felt a little uncomfortable when they entered.
• Try the Chili!  It’s homemade and delicious!

How to Dress for *Put Name of Restaurant*

This is a casual dining establishment, many wore shorts and t-shirts or khakis and polo shirts.

Parking

There were two restaurants in this tiny little strip of buildings and there was plenty of parking for both!

Seating

You order at the counter and seat yourself.  The restaurant is very small so if you go during a busy time there might be limited seating options inside but they do have outdoor seating as well.

Ordering

At Nick’s, you order at the counter, and then pick up at the counter as well.

Is This A Date Night Place

uhhhhh… this is not a “date night” type of place.

Portions

The portion sizes were fairly large.  The dorks split a double bacon cheeseburger and each go their own side and that was more than enough food.
