When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

Dorks With Sporks welcomes and desires your comments. Helpful suggestions and constructive criticism is always welcome. That is how we learn from one another. This site is much like our own home. We do live here, A LOT. We invest hours of time to make this a place where you will want to come visit. Please do not say anything in a comment that you would not say right in my own home to my face. We reserve the right to allow your comment or not on this website just as we would escort you right out of our home if you were being rude. We reserve the right to not publish a comment, remove a comment luv link or remove a comment that is rude or objectionable. We also blacklist a user who is rude.
Blacklisting means that the commenter will no longer be able to leave comments or visit the website. When trying to visit the website, you will simply see an error code or not be able to find what you are looking for. Sorry, that’s how it is when you don’t play nice.
